Resource Specialist – Buckeye School of the Arts

Preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills and abilities: Preferred * Possession of a credential in the area of Special Education allowing the holder to work with students with Mild–to-Moderate Disabilities including Autism

-Examples of applicable CA Credentials:

-Education Specialist Mild to Moderate (embedded Autism Authorization) -Education Specialist Mild to Moderate with Autism Authorization

-Education Specialist Mild to Moderate -Learning Handicapped (Ryan Specialist Instruction Teaching Credential)

-Experience in working with SEIS preferred

-Working knowledge of the IEP Process/SPED law preferred

Applicant MUST POSSESS a valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service in the assignment, including CLAD certification.

Documentation of these requirements MUST accompany the application.

The applicant must pass Department of Justice (DOJ) Fingerprint Clearance. The applicant selected will be required to pay a fingerprint processing fee.

The applicant must pass a pre-placement physical.

Applicant selected will be required to complete mandatory safety training.

SALARY: $46,810 – $94,119 – Based on 184 workdays Master Degree Stipend – $1,500.00 Doctorate Degree Stipend – $1,500.00
