A local Insurance Company is seeking a Licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Agent who has expertise in both commercial and personal lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and insurance advice to clients. They will be required to evaluate, recommend, and sell various insurance products and policies to meet the needs of our clients. This is a full time, long term opportunity located in Redding, CA.
Requirements of the Insurance Agent:
- Must have an active Property and Casualty Insurance license.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and personal lines insurance products and policies.
- Ability to communicate complex insurance concepts in a clear and concise manner to clients.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building strong client relationships.
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Proficient in using technology including insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Benefits of the Insurance Agent:
Starting at $20.00 an hour plus commission
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities of the Insurance Agent:
- Evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and policies, including coverage, deductibles, and limits for both commercial and personal lines.
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, or in-person to provide quotes, explain coverage and answer questions.
- Effectively manage a book of business, including renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Maintain accurate client information in our database and ensure all paperwork and documentation is complete and up to date.
- Work collaboratively with our team to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Stay current on industry regulations, trends and developments that affect our clients' insurance needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and underwriters.
- Other duties as assigned.
