O2 Employment Services, Northern California’s leader in staffing and recruitment, is working with a local company to find their next Infant Teacher. Ideal candidates will be personable, detail-oriented, we would prefer candidates to have 12 completed Early Childhood Education units. This is a full time, long term opportunity located in Redding, CA.
REQUIREMENTS for INFANT TEACHER
- Prefer you have 12 completed ECE units or 6 completed & but must be enrolled for more
- Willing to consider candidates without ECE if you are willing to get them
- Must have a positive attitude
- Willingness to get pediatric and CPR certified if not currently certified
- MUST have preschool aid or teacher experience
- Ability to follow directions
- Must be self-motivated
- Ability to interact well with parents
COMPENSATION
- $15.50/hour
- Pay increase after probationary period
- The company will pay for education and books if you are completing your ECE education
HOURS
Monday – Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
RESPONSIBILITIES for INFANT TEACHER
- Teaching children basic skills such as color, shape, number & letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills
- Attending to children’s basic daily needs
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior
- Organize and lead activities intended to promote physical, mental, and social development
- Must have patience
- Prepare a variety of materials and resources to help children to learn, grow and use their imaginations
- Supervise children’s playtime
- Other duties as assigned
