Administrative Assistant

A local security company is looking for an Administrative Assistant. This position will help assist with growing a successful company. Maintaining an excellent work environment by performing a variety of clerical tasks. In addition to clerical responsibilities, acting as a liaison between office, team members customers, and vendors; you will assist with scheduling, payroll, monthly reconciliation, and legal requirements of compliancy. This is a full time, long term opportunity located in Palo Cedro, CA.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications such as Adobe Word, Excel, PowerPoint, among others
  • Proficient in QuickBooks (Enterprise Edition) is preferred
  • Excellent preparing business correspondences
  • Excellent in the English language (written and spoken)
Benefits of the Administrative Assistant:
$20.00 and up, depending on experience
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Administrator of Operations, Projects Manager, Installers, Sales & Administrative Specialist
  • Answers non-routine correspondence and assembles highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Maintain company files, soft and hard copy alike
  • Record keeping and data entry of timesheets
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Schedule and perform word processing activities; format, revise and print out copies of documents
  • Proofread & edit general correspondences, Team Member Manual and CIIPP (keep current)
  • Performs duties in the absence of the Administrator of Operations
  • Performs other administrative or office duties as required or as assigned

  • Social Media Presence (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
Assist with Safety: 
  • Assist with safety documentation and updates
  • Maintain and update safety certifications log to ensure that certificates do not expire
  • Maintain Tracking log for safety equipment on trucks such as; fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and current copies of I.I.P.P.
  • Maintain the PPE supplies such as shoe covers, eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, hardhats, and masks
  • Suggest Safety training and/or assist in scheduling
