Admin Assistant

A local home healthcare service that provides top quality in-home care is looking for an Administrative Assistant. This position would provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office. Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors. Carries out all administrative duties such as, creating healthy and inviting work environment, completing daily tasks, and assisting with other duties when needed by CEO or Co-workers. The ideal candidate would be polite, friendly, and extremely capable admin assistant, with a passion for delivering excellent support. Holds excellent communication and listening skills that allows for successful communication with all clients and guests, face-to-face and over the phone. This is a full time, long term position located in Redding, CA.
 
Requirements of the Administrative Assistant:
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service
  • Maintain a positive attitude in office 
  • Must be a team player
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills
  • Experience in a healthcare or medical office environment preferred
 
Benefits of the Administrative Assistant:
$20.00-$25.00 an hour depending on experience
 Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
 
Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
  • Answering phones and responding to patient inquiries
  • Scheduling appointments and managing the physician's calendar
  • Greeting visitors and providing exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining patient records and ensuring accuracy of information
  • Coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure timely and efficient patient care
  • Managing office supplies and equipment
  • Keep reception area clean
  • Mail out invoices
  • Make new client and caregiver binder as needed
  • Make consultation packets
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and families
